Red-breast sings. Hops are perfectly free from distemper, & promise a moderate crop.

Ground well moistened. The frogs from James Kinght’s ponds travel in troops to the top of the Hanger.
Clouds of dust attend the drags and harrows. Great rain. No such rain at this place since June 6th.
