Bombylius medius: many appear down the long Lythe.  Filed-crickets bask at the mouths of their holes: they seem to be yet in their pupa-state; as yet they show no wings.

Made an asparagus bed: that which was made last spring was spoiled for want of ran.  Planted potatoes: sowed carrots.
