Bees go into their hives covered all over with a yellow farina, so that they look like wasps.

Drones abound round the mouth of the hive that is expected to swarm. Sheep are shorn.
Sanicula europaea. Lysimacha nemorum. Bees swarm. Pease in the fields thrive wonderfully. Thunder.
Apis longicornis. The long-horned bees bore their nests in the ground where it is trodden the hardest.
