Cut my St foin, the 11th crop. Weeds obtain much, & the crop grows thinner every year.
Cut my St foin, the 11th crop. Weeds obtain much, & the crop grows thinner every year.
Young broods of moor-hens appear. Lettuces that stood the winter are very fine. Cut my St. foin: it is in full bloom, & a good crop: this is the seventh crop…. swifts have eggs, but do not sit. Do they lay more than two?
Sphinx filipendula. Emerges from it’s aurelia state. Fixes it’s cods to the dry twigs in hedges; is called in Hants the St foin fly; & is in its crawling state said to be very pernicious to that plant.
