A dead young rook, about half-grown was found in a nest on one of Mr Pink’s trees near his house.

Trimmed the vines.  Their shools were by no means good, nor well-ripened, notwithstanding the hot summer.

Vast rains in the night!  Some few grapes left on the vines.

At Mr. Pink’s at Faringdon is a rook’s nest with young in it.
