Nectarines rot on ye trees.  Ravens are continually playing by pairs in the air.

Sheep die frequently on the common, tho’ so wholesome a spot.  Ravens flock on the hanger.

Hedge-hogs bore holes in the grass-walks to come at the plantain roots, which they eat upwards.

Transplanted some plants of the Helleborus viridis from the Honey-lane near Norton to the shrubbery in the orchard.  Smallest Regulus non cristatus chirps.  Owls have young still in the nest.

Grapes begin to turn colour.  Nectarines ripe.  Stoparola brings out its young.

Much wheat housed.  Blue mist.  Yellow-hammers have young still, whcih they feed with tipulae.
